MIXERS FOR ATEX EX ZONES Ex

The requirements and needs of customers have contributed to the company's development towards the production of mixers intended for operation in Ex zones, in accordance with the ATEX directive. They are distinguished by their adaptation to work in zones classified as explosive, i.e. wherever there is a real risk of ignition of a mixture of gases, fog and steam that arises during the process taking place in the mixers.

The design and production of mixers is based on the ATEX Directive 2014/34 / EU - devices for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres. All subassemblies and elements have appropriate approvals, certificates and certificates.

Specification and equipment

In order to properly design the device, it is important to select the appropriate protection category. In order to define it, one should take into account:

  • device operation zone: gas (0, 1, 2), dust (20, 21, 22),
  • medium ignition temperature T1-T6,
  • explosion group IIA, IIB, IIC / IIIA, IIIB, IIIC.

After determining the category, components with an appropriate level of protection and appropriate materials should be selected.

The final acceptance of the documentation and the mixer is carried out by an external notified body, issuing a certificate of compliance with the standard.
